Matteo began his career working as a camera operator for Italian television for two years after his graduation in 1995. In 1997 Matteo co-formed the family business Digital Movie  - www.digitalmovie.it -  with his Brother Andrea (www.andreamescalchin.com) and over ten years the pair grew the company into one of the Veneto’s most successful media partnerships. As both a freelancer and with Digital Movie, Matteo has worked extensively across four continents in regions as diverse as Sudan, the USA, Yemen and most of Europe.
